Activity
The activity feed is a log that records changes made within a project. It gives all project members full visibility into what their teammates have done (what was changed, who changed it, and when) without needing to ask or check manually.
Changes made through the API are tracked in the same way as changes made through the UI. You can also read the activity feed through the API. Read the Activity feed endpoint reference.
The activity feed is accessible in two ways:
- Dashboard widget: The Project Dashboard displays a snapshot of the most recent activity. Click View all to open the full log.
- Activity log page: The full activity log is accessible from the side navigation. It displays the complete history of all project activity and supports filtering.
The activity feed is visible to members with the Project viewer role and above.

Activity log entries
Each entry in the activity feed includes the actor (user or M2M client), the action, the affected artifact's type and name, and a timestamp. Where available, it also includes a description of the specific changes, such as field-level diffs for attributes and attribute connectors. For example: "Name: resource.applicationName" > "resource.applicationName2".
When a Project admin saves an M2M client's workspace, each artifact is credited to whoever staged it. A client's own changes show the client as the actor, and corrections the admin staged show the admin. Read Client workspaces for details.
Feed entries cannot be edited or deleted.
The full activity log page supports the following filters that can be combined and cleared at any time.
| Filter | UI item | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Actor / artifact name | Filter field | Search by actor name or artifact name. The filter applies after entering at least 3 characters. |
| Date | Date field | Filter entries to a specific date |
| Action type | All actions dropdown | Filter by operation: created, updated, or deleted |
| Artifact type | Artifact type tabs | Filter by the type of artifact (attribute, attribute connector, etc.) that was changed |
If no activity has been recorded yet, or no entries match the active filters, an appropriate empty state is shown.
